One of the first magazines I sent my photos after a long time was the High Volt, which does print and online sales of the images. Here you can see the digital pages of my work. Surprisingly they put one of my works on the cover. Since I was using the studio and model of another photographer for this shoot, I added his name in the credits so he appeared on the title as well. Overall, this was a good surprise. And you can see the approved images in a single collage at the end.

This work was really fun for me. After a long time I had a nude-art photoshoot by myself again, and as a coincidence it was the same model who suggested me to start publishing my photos. Magnifiqué was the first one to accept my work, and in the end they even put one of my images to the cover. They do print and online sales, here you can see the digital pages of my work on the left individually and all the approved images as a collage on the right.

Even though this was a 5 year old photoshoot, I always felt like it was not shared with proper channels enough. So when I started checking publication options, these were my first options to send out. Luckily the Swanky magazine was preparing a new edition for their Nude and Boudoir version. They approved of the images, but we outlived the magazine itself. So, the sub-brand edition of the magazine got combined into the main one, sending my images to the Swanky magazine itself, then into another edition. Overall, still published and even ended up in the cover. Above are the digital pages of my work on the left individually and all the approved images as a collage on the right.

I sent some simple images to this newly found magazine of an older brand, starting off from the Untold and Stories magazines, Looker magazine seemed more appropriate for my style. And I was right, as they agreed to put my images on the cover without hesitation. These were the last images from my final photoshoot at the time, and I was sure they were good in a basic way. Unfortuantely they did not publish all the approved photos in the series but still I like the way they sampled from the list. Here you can see the digital pages of my work on the left individually and all the approved images as a collage on the right.

I did not think of sending my first professional nude-art photos to a magazine 10 years after it was shot, but things happen. I wanted to try my luck with some of the magazines I see that can be relevant for my work, and what better way to do it than using my old but gold work. It was a good experience and motivating to see them accepting my photos to publish. In addition, they even used one of my images in the back cover, which was a good surprise. Artells has several magazines but my work was for the Artistic Nude & Boudoir version among all others. Here you can see the digital pages of my work on the left individually and all the approved images as a collage on the right.

I really enjoyed this photoshoot, and the results were pretty good and original. So, I am not surprised that it was approved to be published. It was the Glamour edition of Edith magazine that seemed most relevant to this one among others I found in Kavyar back then. Also, it is always fun to see they use some of your images in minor details, including the contents table like a teaser. Here you can see the digital pages of my work on the left individually and all the approved images as a collage on the right.

I sent several images to the Mavrin and it's sub-brand Dominante magazines, in which I was only approved by one of them. Although I would not agree on their choices of the images, considering my personal taste would argue some other images in my catalog from this series are more in my style, still they were willing to put these above images into their publications. You can see the digital pages of my work on the left individually and all the approved images as a collage on the right.

Considering this photoshoot was not planned to be nude-art, and then the collective images of this series being more fashionable than others, I am glad to see it turned out good enough to be published in a magazine. Artego has several magazines but my work was for the Artistic Nude version among all others. Here you can see the digital pages of my work on the left individually and all the approved images as a collage on the right.

Interview and exhibition with TalTech Library

I was studying in Tallinn University of Technology when the university library reached out to me for an exhibition about the talented students who perform out of their professional field. Considering I was studying my Masters in Engineering but also had an amateur photography career made me eligible for this project. So, I gave an interview and a few images that are applicable for this cultural exhibit. Above, there are few shots from the exhibit and the images discussed in the interview.

Self Control

I got certain magazines interested in my work due to the style I chose to work on. I enjoy gothic themes and most of all Nude-Art. Above magazines were interested in specific photoshoots I had, so I sent them the potential options. To be fair, they are not published on social media, or later removed on account cleanups, so there are no links to direct here. However, I still enjoyed the concepts of these magazines enough to keep it here for the memory.

This was my first interview as a photographer, and it was my first promotion in an online magazine. They were more interested in 3 particular photoshoots I had, even though not all of them were used in the end, it was a good distraction during pandemic. You can see the screenshot of the interview from their website as well as the images we talked about with them above. And next to them, there are posts they made in their Instagram to check.
